America at Play: Play Stories is designed to preserve firsthand stories about play. These unique stories will become part of the permanent archive at the National Museum of Play, and will help inform the creation of a major new exhibit that the museum will produce in 2013.

By contributing your story, you’ll help ensure that the museum has the fullest, most complete, most fascinating story of how play happens in America. The America at Play exhibit will include a sweeping overview of four centuries of play in America. Rich in objects from the museum’s renowned collections, and complemented by hands-on activities, America at Play will tell the story of the way that play has changed, stayed the same, and affected adults and children alike.
